SoapSquawk is a news media website dedicated to the Uk’s most popular Soap Operas, allowing writers to submit their own articles for publication.
The first ever website dedicated to the soap opera world, SoapSquawk. Brilliant were briefed to build a website which would not only be able to deliver news before any other online or offline publication, but would encourage soap fans to write and submit their own articles.
Brilliant developed a brand that would appeal to SoapSquawk’s defined audience. Multiple solutions were created and with them a website user interface designed to suit. The chosen identity uses hand drawn typography with illustrated ‘squawky’ birds to convey SoapSquawk’s attitude community and culture. Multiple templates were designed with lots of texture and a subtle colour palette to give the website a soft and ’at home’ demeanor.
